Andy Dreesen is to take over the helm of Leadville, Colo.-based St. Vincent Health, effective Sept. 1, according to a release shared with Becker's.

Carey Estes has joined HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach as vice president of quality. 

Becker's has reported on seventy chief nursing officer moves since the start of 2023. 

Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, has selected Mary Christoffersen, DNP, RN, to serve as senior vice president and chief nursing officer. 

Keith Churchwell, MD, will resign as president of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital on Aug. 11. 

Tanya Townsend was named chief information and digital officer of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Medicine Children's Health. She will join the health system in September.

Chad Wolbers will resign from his role as president and CEO of UnityPoint Health–Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa, the hospital confirmed in a statement shared with Becker's July 12.

Since May, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare has named a handful of CEOs and CFOs to hospitals within the organization. Here are five recent moves: 

Adrian Park, MD, was selected as the first chief surgical officer at Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health.

Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network has promoted its executive vice president and chief strategy officer, Josh Ratner, to an expanded role within the system. 

Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network, a 1,700-bed system, has named Anthony Frank executive vice president and CFO, according to a July 11 news release shared with Becker's. 

Ashish Sethi, MD, is the new chief medical officer at HCA Virginia's Johnston-Willis Hospital, effective July 5.

East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, S.C., has named Tyler Sherrill CEO, effective July 10. 

Nicole Carr, DNP, MSN, RN, was named vice president of nursing operations for HCA Midwest Health, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System has named its first CIO.

Following an evaluation of leadership structure, Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health will begin a national search for a CEO in the coming weeks.

Chris Spady will serve as Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health's southeast division vice president of revenue cycle, according to a July 9 post on his LinkedIn profile. 

Becker's has reported 46 executive retirements in 2023. 

Cleveland Clinic welcomed Federico Serrot, MD, as its medical director of bariatric and metabolic surgery on July 10, according to a news release shared with Becker's. 

Lizette Otero, BSN, was appointed chief nursing officer at Miami-based HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, according to a July 7 South Florida Hospital News report. Ms. Otero will assume the role Aug. 7.
