Jameson "Jamie" Smith is the new CEO of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho-based Kootenai Health. 

Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health has named Raju Iyer senior vice president and CFO, effective Feb. 26. 

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health has named Traci Nordberg to the newly created role of senior vice president of people services.

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has named Denee Wolf vice president of revenue cycle, according to a post on her LinkedIn page.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health has named Bernardo Fernandez Jr., MD, its new corporate physician executive. 

The early days of 2024 have brought a slew of exits from hospital and health system C-suites, with five executives resigning or retiring between Jan. 2 and Jan. 8: 

Abha Agrawal, MD, has joined Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital as president and CEO.

Nick Ragone has been named chief marketing and communications officer of Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health.

Mercy, a multistate health system based in St. Louis, has selected three leaders as presidents of specialty service lines. 

Tim Bensley, CFO of Austin, Texas-based Agilon Health, is retiring sometime in 2024.

Evanston, Ill.-based Endeavor Health has named Deb Anderson as its new CIO. 

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health has named Scott Wooten CFO, beginning Jan. 15.
