She joins the hospital from a private gynecologic oncology practice also located on the campus of HCA Florida Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Madrigal also previously served on Mercy’s board of trustees between 1999 and 2011, according to the release.
Her appointment to the role is effective immediately.
