Lehigh Valley Health Network named pediatrician Amy Jibilian, MD, to the position of chief wellness officer for both the hospital and its affiliated physician network, Valley Preferred, according to a July 8 Valley Ledger report.

Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System has named Christine Woolsey as senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer.

Ashley Dickinson will resign as CEO of Valparaiso, Ind.-based Northwest Health, effective in late July.

Jon Ness, CEO of Kootenai Health, will retire from the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho-based system in early 2024.

Gerald Oetzel has been selected as the new CFO for Temple University Health System and will join the Philadelphia-based system in early September. 

Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare named Efe Efemini, MD, as chief medical officer of its Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, Ga.

MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass., has promoted its interim CEO, John Whitlock, Jr., to the permanent position, the Worcester Business Journal reported July 5.

Richard Margulis has retired from his role as president and CEO of Patchogue, N.Y.-based Long Island Community Hospital after 41 years with the organization, Newsday reported July 4. 

Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health has appointed John Petrov chief human resources officer, effective Aug. 20. 

McLaren Macomb, part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care, has named Steve Snyder CFO, effective June 19. 

Merit Health Natchez (Miss.) has named Kevin Samrow its next CEO, effective July 31, according to The Natchez Democrat. 

Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital has tapped Karen Tracy, RN, as its next CEO, effective July 1.
