Virginia Commonwealth University Health has named Sheldon Barr president of Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill — the first female president in the hospital's 68-year history. 

Englewood (N.J.) Health has named vice presidents for quality, population health and finance. 

John Voight, MSN, RN, has been named vice president and chief nursing officer at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands (Texas) Medical Center.

Los Angeles-based Keck Medicine of USC has appointed Tom Bates, RN, as the system's inaugural chief quality officer.

Seattle-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health has selected James Terwilliger as its new senior vice president and COO. 

Janelle Raborn, market leader of Albuquerque, N.M.-based Lovelace Health System, plans to retire Dec. 31. 

Bryan Matthews has been named director of the Phoenix VA Health Care System, effective Dec. 18. 

Tupelo-based North Mississippi Health Services said Jamie Rodgers, current administrator of its North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmore-Amory, will also serve as administrator of its Pontotoc medical center.

Kettering (Ohio) Health, a 14-hospital system, has appointed CFO Michael Mewhirter as interim CEO.

Sarah Sherer was named senior associate vice president and chief human resources officer for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, according to a Nov. 9 news release shared with Becker's.

Great Falls (Mont.) Clinic Hospital appointed Caryl Perdaems chief practice officer and Bradley Weast COO.   

Gloria Carter, MSN, RN, chief nursing executive at Dignity Health's Long Beach, Calif.-based  St. Mary Medical Center, has been appointed to lead the city's workforce development agency.

Kristin Feliciano was named senior vice president of strategy for University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, according to a Nov. 8 news release shared with Becker's.

Morton, Wash.-based Arbor Health has named Cheryl Cornwell as its new CFO, The Chronicle reported Nov. 7. 

Great Falls (Mont.) Clinic Hospital has named Bradley Weast its new COO.

Erik Shannon has been named permanent CEO of Charlottesville-based University of Virginia Community Health after serving in an interim capacity since October 2021. 

Bruce Meyer, MD, president of Jefferson Health in Philadelphia and senior executive vice president of Thomas Jefferson University, has accepted a new role with Pittsburgh-based Highmark Health overseeing payer-provider strategy.
