1. Matt Johnston was named COO of HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville.
2. Jonathan Aquino was named corporate COO of San Gabriel Valley, Calif.-based AHMC Healthcare.
3. Jeremy Martin was appointed CEO of St. James Parish Hospital in Lutcher, La., after most recently serving as COO.
4. Christopher Cullom was appointed COO of Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic.
5. Michael Stein was named executive vice president and COO of GBMC Hospital in Townson, Md.
6. Ajla Sutkovic was named COO of Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
7. Alex Le was named senior vice president and COO at Valdosta, Ga.-based SGMC Health.
8. Zach Chapman was promoted to COO of Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Mich.
9. Michael Thompson was appointed COO of Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
10. Doug Johnston was named president of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network’s West Penn Hospital after serving as the hospital’s COO.
11. Karen Ambrose was appointed COO of HCA Healthcare’s Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas.
12. Paul Ferguson was appointed COO of Hospital Sisters Health System’s Central Illinois market.
13. Sylvia Radziszewski was appointed COO of University Hospitals Elyria (Ohio) Medical Center while continuing to serve as president and COO of University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio.
14. Brandon Cohen was named COO of St. David’s North Austin (Texas) Medical Center.
15. Whitney Clark was appointed COO of Sutter Roseville (Calif.) Medical Center.
16. Samuel Atkinson was appointed COO of Mercy Hospital Joplin (Mo.).
17. Donnie McLaughlin was appointed COO of Gainesville, Fla.-based UF Health Shands Hospital.
18. Richard DeCarlo, executive vice president and COO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, shared plans to retire after nearly 10 years with the health system.
19. Marc Kosak was named president and COO of Berlin-based Central Vermont Medical Center.
20. Chantel Johnson joined San Francisco-based UCSF Health as vice president and COO of the UCSF Health Network’s ambulatory operations on June 29.
21. Jared Amerson joined San Francisco-based UCSF Health as vice president and COO of the UCSF Health Network on July 6.
22. Nicole Runyon was named COO of TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.
23. Lori Martin, BSN, was named COO and chief nursing officer of Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital in Shelbyville, Tenn., after serving in the inaugural interim role for the past four months.
