Idaho hospital names dual COO-CNO

Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke’s Health System has named Edward “Eddie” Graebert, RN, COO and chief nursing officer of Meridian (Idaho) Medical Center, effective June 28.

Mr. Graebert joined St. Luke’s in 2022 and most recently served as director of surgical services in Meridian, according to a July 7 LinkedIn post from the health system. During his tenure, he helped reduce immediate-use steam sterilization, improve utilization of the Meridian Ambulatory Surgery Center and led workforce safety efforts.

Before joining St. Luke’s, he held clinical and leadership roles at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La. 

Mr. Graebert succeeds Brie Sandow, who was named associate vice president of operations.
