University Hospitals adds 2nd facility to hospital COO’s role

Cleveland-based University Hospitals has named Sylvia Radziszewski COO of University Hospitals Elyria (Ohio) Medical Center. 

Ms. Radziszewski will serve in that role while continuing to serve as president and COO of University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio, according to a July 21 LinkedIn post from the system. 

She joined UH Samaritan in 2022, and her leadership has helped the hospital secure national recognition for patient safety and quality, expand specialty service lines and broaden access to care for the Ashland community. 

Prior to joining University Hospitals, Ms. Radziszewski, a registered respiratory therapist, served as regional vice president of Ohio for ChenMed-Dedicated Senior Medical Centers in Miami, Fla.
