CHOP promotes 2 executive leaders

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has promoted two executives to new leadership roles.

Jan Boswinkel, MD, was named executive vice president and system COO after serving as senior vice president and COO of hospital operations, according to a July 7 LinkedIn post from the hospital. He has more than 25 years of experience at CHOP.

Peter Grollman was named executive vice president of external affairs. He previously served as senior vice president of external affairs and has been with CHOP since 2007.

In his new role, Mr. Grollman will oversee global strategy and business development, national outreach and provider services, marketing and public relations, government affairs and advocacy, and community impact.
