Jonathan Wilke has been named COO of Wichita, Kan.-based Via Christi St. Joseph, effective Oct. 19, according to an Oct. 14 LinkedIn post.
The hospital is part of Wichita-based Ascension Via Christi, which operates six hospitals and 75 care sites and is sponsored by St. Louis-based Ascension.
Mr. Wilke succeeds Linsey Coster, who was named president of Via Christi St. Peter in Derby, Kan., in August.
In his new role, Mr. Wilke will oversee operational strategy and integration at Via Christi St. Joseph, supporting high-quality care, clinical excellence and daily hospital operations.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Wilke served as regional director of strategy and business development for Des Moines, Iowa-based MercyOne, according to his LinkedIn page.
