Jonathan Aquino has been named corporate COO of San Gabriel Valley, Calif.-based AHMC Healthcare.
Mr. Aquino most recently served as regional COO for Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare. Before that role, he was CEO of San Gabriel (Calif.) Valley Medical Center and has held senior corporate leadership positions overseeing quality, compliance and systemwide performance excellence programs across multiple national health systems.
Mr. Aquino is recognized for leading complex hospital transformations, operational turnarounds and enterprise performance improvement initiatives that strengthen financial performance while advancing patient safety, quality outcomes and access to care.
He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Southern California.
AHMC Healthcare owns and operates 10 acute care hospitals, with facilities in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties in Southern California and San Mateo County in Northern California.
