Jeremy Martin was appointed CEO of St. James Parish Hospital in Lutcher, La., according to a July 31 Facebook post from the hospital.
Mr. Martin joined the hospital in 2004 and has held several leadership roles, most recently serving as COO, the hospital said. He has helped advance facility improvements, expand services, strengthen physician partnerships and enhance emergency preparedness, according to the post.
Mr. Martin succeeds Mary Ellen Pratt, who has led the hospital since 2007.
“I have great respect for the legacy Mary Ellen Pratt has created and the outstanding team she has built,” Mr. Martin said in the post. “I look forward to working alongside our dedicated physicians, employees, Board members, and community partners to continue advancing the hospital’s mission while building on our strong legacy of community-focused care.”
St. James Parish Hospital is a 25-bed public, nonprofit critical access hospital that opened in 1955.
