Tremaine Gibson was named COO of Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, according to a July 5 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Gibson assumes the role after serving as vice president of operations at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest for the past five years.
During his tenure, he oversaw operations for service lines including neurosciences, inpatient rehabilitation, imaging and laboratory services, according to the release. He also helped expand outpatient diagnostic imaging, launch two freestanding emergency rooms and direct more than $140 million in capital investments.
Research Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health, is a 590-bed facility with a level 1 trauma center.
