Corpus Christi, Texas-based Driscoll Health System has promoted Shane Casady to COO.
In his new role, Mr. Casady will lead operations across the pediatric health system’s two hospitals, Driscoll Health Plan and specialty centers and clinics across South Texas, according to a Sept. 15 news release.
He has been with the health system for nearly two decades and most recently served as vice president of professional and support services at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, according to the release. His experience spans hospital operations, strategic and operational planning, capital and facility development, major construction and expansion projects, and enterprise-wide growth initiatives. He has also helped advance the system’s government relations and public policy strategy.
