Alex Le has been named senior vice president and COO at Valdosta, Ga.-based SGMC Health.
Mr. Le most recently served at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, according to an Aug. 3 health system news release. He brings more than a decade of executive healthcare leadership experience across systems, where he led service line growth initiatives and organizationwide efforts to improve patient satisfaction, operational performance and care delivery.
In his new role, Mr. Le will provide strategic and operational leadership across the health system and oversee initiatives focused on quality, patient access, workforce engagement and organizational growth.
SGMC Health comprises four hospitals and an extensive network of physician practices and outpatient services across South Georgia and North Florida.
