California hospital using digital engagement tech to improve patient experience

Escondido, Calif.-based Palomar Health has partnered with patient engagement company Get Well to use its digital engagement technology to enhance the patient experience and provide better outcomes for patients.

The partnership will launch in four phases and focus on five areas — digital care management, inpatient experience, emergency department experience, care gap closure and health equity, according to a Nov. 3 press release Palomar shared with Becker’s

During the first phase, Palomar Health will implement Get Well’s digital care management solution, GetWell Loop. 

With GetWell Loop, patients will be able to remain connected with their physicians through an app that provides virtual check-ins.

The next integration will be implementing an inpatient experience feature that will offer patients a mobile experience, post-discharge support, on-site Get Well Navigator and a workflow automation for hospital staff. 

As the partnership continues to grow, more features will be integrated into Palomar Health’s patient care management system with the aim of offering more services to patients and improving patient engagement.
