Aluna, an artificial intelligence-powered lung health platform, raised $15.3 million in a series B financing round.
The company's platform allows patients to remotely transfer lung health data to clinicians by blowing into a spirometer. Next, the patient can record symptoms and environmental factors in Aluna's app, according to a Feb. 1 Aluna news release.
Aluna is used by patients managing their asthma, cystic fibrosis and COPD. The financing round brings the company's total raised to $27 million.
"As we head into 2023, we plan to grow Aluna's product and its scale with this funding and the support of our partners," Aluna COO Jason Hochman said in the release.
