A new family medicine residency program at Pullman (Wash.) Regional Hospital will focus on healthcare provided in a critical-access setting.
The Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine earned accreditation to start the three-year residency program in summer 2022, according to a May 10 news release. The WSU Family Medicine Residency Program-Pullman will host three residents per year and a total of nine once fully implemented.
The residents will train at Pullman Regional as well as in subspecialty clinics with local physicians and in a residency primary care clinic that will be constructed at the hospital.
