St. Vincent appoints North Region president: 5 notes

Indianapolis-based St. Vincent tapped Julie Manas to serve as regional president of its North Region, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

Here are five notes:

1. In her new role, Ms. Manas will oversee St. Vincent Anderson (Ind.); St. Vincent Carmel (Ind.); St. Vincent Fishers (Ind.); St. Vincent Kokomo (Ind.); St. Vincent Mercy in Elwood, Ind.; St. Vincent Randolph (Winchester, Ind.); and St. Vincent Williamsport (Ind.) hospitals.

2. Most recently, she worked at Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System, where she was HSHS’ Western Wisconsin Division president and CEO as well as Eau Claire, Wis.-based HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital’s president and CEO.

3. She previously served as president of Genesis Medical Center and senior vice president of Genesis Health System, both based in Davenport, Iowa.

4. She has experience working at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 12 years.

5. Ms. Manas holds a master of arts degree in hospital and health administration from Iowa City-based University of Iowa.
