IU Health selects new physician group president: 4 takeaways

Indianapolis-based IU Health named David Ingram, MD, president of IU Health Physicians, effective Jan. 2, 2018.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Dr. Ingram currently serves as CMO of the physician group.

2. He is also a pediatrics faculty member at IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

3. He succeeds John Fitzgerald, MD, who was named senior vice president of population health at IU Health.

4. IU Health Physicians includes 1,600-plus physicians in 30 specialties.
