Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health appointed John Fitzgerald, MD, senior vice president of population health.
Here are three points:
1. Dr. Fitzgerald serves as president of IU Health Physicians. He will continue in this role until a replacement is identified.
2. He is a general internist.
3. In his new role, he will oversee all population health programs for the system, including the IU Health Next Generation ACO.
