Tara McCoy is Good Samaritan Medical Center’s new CEO: 4 things to know

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare appointed Tara McCoy CEO of Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to a South Florida Business Journal report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Previously, Ms. McCoy served as service line administrator for Tenet’s Florida region, now part of the healthcare giant’s coastal division.

2. She helped develop the heart and vascular network.

3. She holds a master of science degree in industrial engineering from Tampa-based University of South Florida.

4. She succeeds Mark Nosacka, who is leaving to take on the CEO role at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
