Children's Hospital Los Angeles tapped Mark Krieger, MD, to serve as senior vice president and surgeon-in-chief.
Three notes:
1. Dr. Krieger, who began his new role May 1, is the Billy and Audrey Wilder neurosurgery chair and co-director of the Neurological Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
2. He has worked at the hospital for 20 years, previously serving as chief of the neurosurgery division and associate chief of the department of surgery.
3. He is a director of the American Board of Pediatric Neurosurgery and chair of the pediatric joint section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
