Hyannis, Mass.-based Cape Cod Healthcare broke ground Sept. 23 on a six-story, $180 million patient tower, according to CapeCod.com.
The 140,000-square-foot tower will house updated cancer and cardiology departments and a rooftop garden and increase the number of beds at the hospital from 259 to 299.
It's slated for completion in 2022.
