Reporting to the President and CEO, provides the vision and leadership to develop and execute South County Health's digital health strategy, implementing transformational information technology (IT) initiatives across the healthcare system to improve healthcare quality, digital connections to consumers, cost effectiveness, and business development in a rapidly evolving and highly competitive marketplace. The CIO leads the planning and implementation of a digital ecosystem that seamlessly connects all components of the enterprise, facilitating the provision of high-quality patient care through an efficient provider experience. Establishes a culture of innovation and maximization of information systems. He/she will leverage IT solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, including data analytics capabilities, and the deployment of requisite technology in support of the mission and strategic goals. Staying abreast of national trends, best practices and emerging technologies, the CIO updates information technology strategies in contribution to the strategic plan.
This represents an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic IT health care executive to impact the future of South County Health and the communities it serves. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing strategic leadership through the pursuit of digital health integration, virtual care, information technology and cyber security in a healthcare setting, and experience leading large, complex projects while considering technical and people perspectives in achieving desired business outcomes.
Possessing high energy and integrity, the successful candidate will be a creative and optimistic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, and accomplished in producing results in a resource-efficient environment. Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of progressive Information Technology leadership experience required; Master's degree preferred.
