Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System has appointed Kristen M. Johnson director of public affairs for its northwest Wisconsin region, according to a Leader-Telegram report.
Ms. Johnson was previously president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. She has 11 years of healthcare communications experience, including at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, N.C.
In her new role, she oversees the health system's public affairs team based in Eau Claire, Wis., and works with communications and marketing directors in the health system.
