John Hughson takes over as CEO of Big Bend Regional Medical Center: 3 things to know

John Hughson is the new CEO of Alpine, Texas-based Big Bend Regional Medical Center, according to an Alpine Avalanche report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Hughson.

1. Mr. Hughson replaces Mike Ellis, who left to lead HillRegionalHospital in Hillsboro, Texas.

2. Mr. Hughson most recently served as administrator of Burleson St. Joseph Health Center in Caldwell, Texas where he served for four years.

3. Mr. Hughson received a business degree from San Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and a master’s degree in health policy and management from Texas A&M Health Science Center in Round Rock, Texas.
