Fox Hospital names new president: 4 things to know

A. O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, N.Y., has named Jeff Joyner president, according to a report from The Daily Star.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Joyner.  

1. He begins his job Jan. 1. 

2. He previously was system vice president for operations at St. Joseph’s Healthcare System in Paterson, N.J.  

3. Mr. Joyner also previously was vice president of professional services at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, from 2009 until 2013. From 2003 until 2009, he held the position of vice president of patient support services at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Md.

4. He succeeds John Remillard, who announced his retirement plans earlier this year.
