Dana Gilbert has been selected as chief strategy and population health officer at Chicago-based Presence Health, according to a report published by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Gilbert.

1. He began his new role last month.

2. Previously, Mr. Gilbert was COO of Advocate Physician Partners, a care-management collaboration with Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care.

3. He also previously was vice president for clinical innovation and growth for Advocate Physician Partners.
