Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph’s Health and Hackensack (N.J.) Meridian Health will open an infusion center on the St. Joseph’s Wayne (N.J.) Medical Center campus.
The infusion center is considered the first step in the oncology partnership, according to a Sept. 28 news release. It will include personnel to help patients with screenings, treatments and clinical trials, with a focus on providing better quality care for underserved populations.
Plans are in place to expand the St. Joseph's Paterson campus and add a location in Totowa. N.J., later in 2022.
