Mako Medical also launched a training program for its employees, the lab said Aug. 15. The program will be offered at no cost to team members at all Mako locations.
It will include 14 weeks of instruction, with two four-hour virtual instruction days each week. As students graduate, they will be able to return as instructors, Mako said.
The inaugural class, which will begin this month, will have room for 10 to 12 students. Mako COO Josh Arant said it hopes to expand the program outside the company in 2023.
