The deal gives Quidel access to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics’ business footprint that stretches across more than 130 countries, the report said. Quidel said it will also help diversify the company’s product portfolio and accelerate product growth, according to the report.
The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of fiscal year 2022.
