The lab currently provides services in dermatology, gastroenterology and urology but is expected to expand its test offerings with the affiliation, EmeritusDX said June 13.
“We are extremely excited to add Freedom Pathology Partners to the EmeritusDX family,” EmeritusDX CEO Robert Embree said in a news release. “Their high standards for test quality and customer service fit extremely well with our approach to patient care. We have an ambitious growth plan and the acquisition of Freedom Pathology is aligned with the multiple pillars of our strategy.”
The deal has closed, and work is in progress to integrate the companies and expand Freedom’s test offerings.
