Virtua Health promotes Catherine Hughes to CNO

Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua Health tapped Catherine Hughes, MSN, RN, to serve as senior vice president and CNO.

As chief nursing officer, Ms. Hughes will focus on professional and nursing practice, as well as patient care at the five-hospital health system.

She is an 18-year veteran of Virtua, most recently serving as interim CNO and vice president of nursing integration and outcomes.

She’s also served as vice president for patient care services for Virtua Berlin and Virtua Camden an is an American Organization of Nurse Leaders member.
