Oak Hill Hospital promotes CNO to COO

Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Fla., tapped Leanne Salazar, MSN, to serve as COO.

Ms. Salazar has served as chief nursing officer of the organization since 2013. She is also clinical director for the Hernando County Sexual Assault Nurses.

In addition to her nursing degrees, Ms. Salazar holds an MBA and is certified in executive nursing practice. She succeeds Steve Young, who left to serve as COO of another hospital in Tampa-based HCA’s West Florida Division, of which Oak Hill Hospital is a part.
