Intermountain names president for 2 markets

Mitch Cloward was selected as the new Desert Region president overseeing operations for Intermountain Health’s Southern Nevada and Southwest Utah markets.

Mr. Cloward brings two decades of leadership experience within Intermountain to the role, according to an Aug. 14 news release from the Salt Lake City-based health system.

Most recently, he served as Intermountain Health’s Desert South Utah market president and president of St. George (Utah) Regional Hospital.

Mr. Cloward began his new role July 24, according to the release.

Intermountain Health is a 33-hospital organization with locations in seven states.
