Jim Flynn, CEO of Galesburg (Ill.) Cottage Hospital, is resigning in mid-May, according to The Register-Mail.

Four things to know:

1. Mr. Flynn is leaving to take on the CEO role at a facility in Mishawaka, Ind.

2. He became CEO of Galesburg Cottage Hospital in May 2017.

3. He was previously CEO of Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

4. Mr. Flynn holds a master of health administration degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill.
