Here are four things to know about Dr. Franckowiak.
1. Dr. Franckowiak has been serving in this interim role since April.
2. As executive director, she will manage all aspects of patient care delivery, fiscal administration, performance improvement, utilization review and professional development at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin-Fox Valley.
3. Prior to joining Children’s, Dr. Franckowiak was project coordinator-health science specialist for Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, director of clinical operations for Oconomowoc (Wis.) Memorial Hospital. Prior to that, she was chief clinical services officer with Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care.
4. Dr. Franckowiak earned her Bachelor of Science in health science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Business and Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. Most recently, she earned her doctorate in industrial organizational psychology from Walden University.
