Michael J. Goebel has been named CEO of Adventist Hinsdale (Ill.) Hospital, according to a local Tribune report.
Mr. Goebel previously served as the hospital's vice president and COO, a role he has filled since 2010. His promotion is effective immediately. Mr. Goebel succeeds David L. Crane, who was serving as CEO of both Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and the larger Adventist Midwest Health system. He now serves as CEO of the system alone.
