3 Tuomey Trustees Resign From Board in Light of Ongoing Lawsuit

Kim Harving, Andy McFaddin, MD, and Kay Raffield, PhD, have resigned from their positions on the Sumter, S.C.-based Tuomey Healthcare System Board of Trustees, according to a report by The Sumter Item.

The three trustees’ resignations were handed over in the midst of a multi-year legal battle in which the hospital was accused of violating Stark Law and the False Claims Act.
