The country's highest-paid employees not only bring home higher salaries than most of their colleagues, but also tend to receive more paid time off each year, according to Quartz.
Last year, almost half of Americans in the top 25 percent of earners received at least 10 days of paid vacation, while only about one-tenth of the bottom 25 percent received this amount of leave, according to an annual employee benefits survey conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Here are four statistics on paid vacation days in the U.S. by income, listed according to employees who reported having more than 10 paid vacation days.
1. Top 25th wage percentile: 29 percent
2. 50-75th wage percentile: 25 percent
3. 25-50th wage percentile: 17 percent
4. Bottom 25th wage percentile: 5 percent
