NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s NYP Innovation Center. Since launching in 2014, NewYork-Presbyterian’s Innovation Center has hosted a number of events, hackathons and challenges to harness its community’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. NYP held a pediatric app challenge this past spring, and in summer 2015 it held a challenge to create tools to engage patients and facilitate communication between providers. Some of the center’s outside partners include healthcare innovation lab HITLAB, data service NavHealth and the New York Digital Health Accelerator.
