Under the agreement, YVMC providers will engage in professional development and career growth opportunities with UCHealth. UCHealth agreed to donate more than $105 million in capital spending to provide YVMC physicians access to telemedicine and other technological advancements, additional behavioral health and substance abuse resources and expanded emergency department resources, among other services, according to an emailed news release.
YVMC will remain independent and retain its leadership.
Officials expect to complete the integration by the end of summer.
