Timberlands Healthcare to acquire, rebrand Houston County Medical Center

Crockett, Texas-based Timberlands Healthcare will acquire Houston County Medical Center and rebrand the facility as Timberlands Hospital, effective Oct. 1, according to ABC-KTRE news.

Along with the name change, Timberlands Hospital also changed its logo and color scheme to match its parent company as part of the agreement.

Officials said the majority of the 49-bed hospital’s 250 employees and 17 providers will become employees of Timberlands Healthcare, according to the article.
