George Hayes, president and CEO of UCHealth's Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North, is leaving his post, effective Nov. 4.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Hayes came to Memorial Hospital as president and CEO in 2014.
2. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of UCHealth's Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo.
3. During his time at the helm of Memorial Hospital, Mr. Hayes improved the hospital's facilities and services. U.S. News&World Report now ranks the hospital among the top eight hospitals in Colorado.
4. The hospital's board and leaders will begin the search for a new CEO later this year.
