Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Ronan is currently president of EMHS’ Blue Hill (Maine) Memorial Hospital and a senior vice president at EMHS. He will continue in both those roles in addition to the new position at Maine Coast Memorial.
2. Mr. Ronan has been with EMHS for nearly 20 years, spending the last two years as president of Blue Hill Memorial.
3. He replaces Charlie Therrien at Maine Coast Memorial, who is leaving to take over as president of Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, also an EMHS member.
4. EMHS will evaluate permanent leadership needs at Maine Coast Memorial and Blue Hill Memorial.
