1. He was born at Gibson Area Hospital and underwent multiple operations there on his hands and feet during his childhood, according to a news release.
2. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2012 with a dual bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, complemented by a minor in psychology.
3. After graduating from Indiana University Bloomington, Mr. Ertel began his career with GAH in the central business office.
4. Hospital officials said Mr. Ertel plans to earn designation as a certified public accountant, as well as a master’s degree in healthcare administration.
