The “MGMA Datadive Management and Staff Compensation Data Report” is based on 2023 survey data from more than 171,000 management and staff positions. When looking at data over the past decade, (2014 to 2023) pay for executive management positions grew nearly 21%, or by $31,094 across that time period, the report found.
In 2023, the pay gap between Wisconsin and Texas, the lowest paying state, was $283,388. The data is based on a survey of people in a range of C-suite level roles, including CEOs, COOs and CFOs, an MGMA spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
