The Boeing Preferred Partnership, as it will be called, will be a clinically integrated network created in partnership with the Roper St. Francis Health Alliance, which is a CIN with Roper St. Francis and more than 600 local physicians.
This will be the second partnership of its kind for Boeing, which launched a similar program with a health system in the Puget Sound area of Washington. Under this agreement, participating Boeing employees make lower paycheck contributions and have access to lower cost primary care visits and generic prescription drugs. It will also offer employees same- or next-day appointments, e-messaging with providers, a dedicated nurse line for 24/7 consultations and support for preventive care and chronic disease management, among other benefits.
The program will be effective Jan. 1, 2016.
