Mr. Ward began his tenure at 303-bed Cabell Huntington in 1978 as controller. He climbed the ranks to assume the CFO title in 1982. A certified public accountant, Mr. Ward previously worked at accounting firm Hayflich and Steinberg in the healthcare division.
